Initial layout and description of the Rebounding Handkerchief Game – With Roles
Make two teams. If you are odd, in the equipment that you have one less repeat one (will be assigned two numbers).
Each team is placed in a line-of-band (divided as close as possible to the extension of the Free Kick).
The Coach, with ball and placed on the Free Kick, appoints a number (you can also opt-points to that number with the fingers, or combine them).
After naming and/or point to the number, the Coach will pull up to the basket with his hand non-dominant one player from each team with that number assigned must run for the rebound.
An hour of play we have two modalities:
- Short version: The round ends and how much has been caught the rebound (1 point for that team).
- Medium version: The round ends when after taking the Rebound, the defending player who picked up the Rebound reaches half-court, or when the attacker gets to throw to the basket (in that case, the bounce scores with 2 points, the theft with 1 point and dunk with 1 point).
At the end of the game, the team with more points added.
Variants
- It is named from two two-digit numbers to come out two players from each team and play a 2×2.
- You can name a two-digit number and assign the first digit to the team located to the left and the second to the team located to the right.
- You can combine the two previous variants, and to appoint multiple numbers (for example, if we say ’34’ and ’12’ will leave players 3 and 1 of the computer on the left and the players 4 and 2 of the computer on the right).
- Scarf Rebounder: it maintains the same structure and only changes the initial layout of the equipment in order to recreate a situation in the game more real, see with roles assigned to each team (attacker and defender).
