The Half-Moon Shooting Drill is a structured warm-up activity in which players are positioned in a half-moon shape around the key or three-point line. This drill emphasizes rhythm shooting, passing, and quick footwork, with players rotating through fixed spots to receive and shoot in motion. It’s ideal for developing game-speed shooting from multiple angles while promoting communication and timing.

Initial layout and description
Make two rows indies located at the intersection of the line side of the area with the bottom line. In one of the two rows, the first one is without the ball.
The first player without the ball curling the cone in front of you and receives the pass from the first of the other row after curling the following cone.
After receiving strip to the basket, he goes to get his own rebound and put it in another row.
That gave the pass and repeat the procedure in the opposite direction, and so on.
Variants
- You can do two groups (minimum 8 players) and compete for time or goal.
- You can vary the distance.
- You can use the tablet.
- The one that passes makes a slight attempt to tap when it passes near the handle.
