The Asturian Knockout – Competitive Shooting Game is a dynamic variation of the classic knockout shooting game, designed to add extra pressure, rules, or local flair to the format. Players line up to shoot in sequence, and the tension rises as they try to score before the next player knocks them out. This version introduces unique rules that increase intensity, demand precision, and reward quick decision-making, making it a fun and competitive way to close a session or energize players.
In this mode, invented by Dani Mandrul, fellow coach in the C. B. Zone Press (San Sebastián de los Reyes), it changes the way of removing, transferring the pressure to the next person that strip, in the case of mark, the person who threw above.

Each player rolls a single free-kick each in their turn. Released to the basket with ease and concentration. With this form of the game, yes it works on the free throws (including their routines pre-launch).
Respect to the name, has its aura of mystery. It is very likely that arise in any stay in Asturias or talking with a coach spaniard.

Initial layout and description of the Asturian Knockout – Competitive Shooting Game
A row of india from the Free Kick, facing the basket, with the first two players in each balloon.
The game’s K. O. asturian rewards the concentration and hit the Free Throw. The mechanics is simple. If a player marks the Free-Kick, the next player must mark yours not to get eliminated. If a player miss the free throw when the above shot also went astray, has no consequences (so only you will have lost the opportunity to put in a predicament to the next person who pulls).
At the end, when there are only two players, it maintains the order in which he was, and the success in the free-kicks will determine the winner.
As the last notes, point out that the way of working pressure in the shot is very similar to the Stock market Game (also known as Game out of the box) and can be used as an exercise in transition.
Variants
- To throw with the hand non-dominant.
- Pulled from a brand concrete lateral of the restricted area.
- K. O. with the cemetery: it consists in that the eliminated players may re-enter the game if the player that I deleted is deleted.
- K. O. of good vibes: the eliminated players may re-enlist if the players are still playing:
- Fail a certain number of baskets in a row.
- Do not mark in a given time.
- If you mark a certain number of baskets in a row, the following players will have to be saved (example: make 3 baskets in a row; the following 3 players have to mark their shots).
