Initial layout of the 2-on-1 drill from baseline
Placed to 3 players spread out along the bottom line. The centre player starts with the ball. The signal of the coach starts the exercise.
Description of the 2-on-1 drill from baseline
The centre player passes the ball to one of his companions, it receives it and returns it. The player in the center gives it a third pass to a colleague who has not yet received the ball and started to play the 2×1.
The cones are located at mid-court to regulate the level of intensity of the exercise, either by changing the location of the same, either by asking the players that surround them or just touch them. In this way we can easily modulate the exercise.
Recommendation: in case of availability of court as a whole and have 12 players, you can divide two groups of 6 in each half court.

Fiscal Year variants of the 2-on-1 drill from baseline
- Play without boat.
- The third player will be the one who defends. You will receive the final pass, descend the ball in the half court and will go to defend.
- There’s that end up pulling from a certain location (below the ring, outside the area or from the three-point line).
- You have to dial before a particular time.
- You have to resolve with a maximum number of passes.
- You have to resolve with a maximum of boats.
- It is necessary to resolve a given number of passes and boats spread out between the couple attacker.
- Change up where you have to reach the defender when it simulates the balance.
- Make the first pass from one of the two sides.
- Vary the distance of the cones.
