exercise, exercise, basketball, shooting, 1x0, 1c0, 3x0, 3c0, 24, seconds

This 1-on-0 – 5 Shots in 24 Seconds Drill (v2.0) challenges players to make 5 bodies-up shots within 24 seconds, simulating fast possessions. It reinforces shooting pace, mental focus, and rhythm, ideal for rapid-fire perimeter or midrange practice (check the original 1-on-0 – 5 Shots in 24 Seconds Drill (v2.0)).
Here the idea is to be able to perform the 5 shots at once that is achieved by having the reboteadores more active.

Initial layout and description of the 1-on-0 – 5 Shots in 24 Seconds Drill (v2.0)

The players do not pull handles are placed, with a balloon for each one, under the same basket. One of them will be the first pin and the second pin.

The player who is going to throw is placed behind a cone. The first pin he passes the ball. The time starts just when the shooter receives the first pass.

After you have pulled will go to the other cone of the same basket in order to receive the next pass from the second pin. The shooter makes his second shot while the first pin will be picking up the rebound to go to the other basket.

Once the second shot, the Shooter will go to the basket of the half court and in the meantime, the second pin will be picking up the rebound to go to this half court.

Once you have repeated the sequence, you will return to the first basket in a straight line, and so on.

After finishing his round of 5 shots in 24 seconds, it turns the roles (Handle, 1 pin and 2 pin).

Variants

  • Need to pull 2 (middle distance, long distance or out of the area).
  • There is that end with shots inside the area.
  • You can extend the time to have the possibility of making more shots (beware that the exercise was not to lose explosiveness).
  • Original exercise: 5 shots in 24 seconds.
